Resume - Curriculum Vitae for LYNNE OCONNOR
Lynne O’Connor has been working formally with computers since studying BASIC programming in high school in 1981. She was ingrained with an aptitude for technology as the daughter of an electronics test engineer with Nuclear Data (formerly located at Golf & Meacham in Schaumburg, Illinois). She was playing with Teletype machines and text-based Adventure games on a mainframe at age eight, and was soldering faulty integrated circuits to discarded circuit boards by age ten. She built her first breadboard FM radio at age twelve. She excelled in high school English, Math, and Sciences, graduating in the top 3% of her class. Two years study in computer science, followed by a Bachelors of Science in Marketing, launched an intricate and diverse career in technology education and promotion.
Ms. O’Connor has been writing, editing and proofreading for technology for over twenty years, specializing in technical writing for computer software companies. Her marketing and graphics expertise enhances her production, as she always has an eye for quality presentation and design to improve the reception of the intended message. As one satisfied client reports, “From discovery sessions, development, QA and production support, she has proven the ability to manage time lines, complete tasks, and produce quality results. Lynne is a self-starter who can be trusted to complete tasks on deadline with minimal oversight. She is also not afraid to speak her mind when she sees inconsistencies or potential road blocks, which makes her a valuable asset to any development or management team.”
