Multi-Edit v8.0 Windows Help System

This is a PDF file that was converted from the HLP file created by Lynne with RoboHelp in 1998. Containing 550 topics, the Help System was brought current with the Version 8.0 release of the Multi-Edit Programmer's Text Editor, which had been in development by American Cybernetics since Lynne first worked for that company in 1988.

Multi-Edit v8.0 Getting Started Guide

Because the v8.0 Help System for Multi-Edit was so comprehensive, and because it was necessary to conserve on printing costs, this 96-page Getting Started Guide was written and designed in PageMaker (now InDesign) by Lynne to prepare a programmer new to Multi-Edit in the use of the software for editing code. Pro-Am Timesheet User’s Guide

This 82-page Training Guide was written by Lynne for the first Windows version of the Electronic Timesheet developed by Forob, Inc. The beginning sections of the Guide prepared a user new to Microsoft Windows on how to use the mouse and familiarized them with the terminology for and layout of screen elements. Then the Guide instructed them on how to record Time Entry data and prepare it for reporting purposes. The Timesheet was a module in an accounting software suite for law firms. Rupp/Sharp Electronic Organizers Training Guide

This 70-page Guide was used to train attendees of Comdex 1994 in the use of Sharp Electronic Organizers in conjunction with RuppLynx software to synchronize data between the Sharp and a personal computer. Lynne prepared this four-session Training Guide while working in Technical Support for Rupp Corporation. The executives at Sharp were so impressed by the training materials that they were adopted for use internationally. This document is currently being scanned and will be uploaded soon.
